blimey, that was 16 years, whoosh,
well, well, 16 years here at my store. who'd have thought it? not me.
i never thought i'd be here 5 years.
i've always thought myself a gypsy, & as far as living in different homes, i guess i am,
it was over 100, at the last count.
well, this little store of mine, certainly has some tales to tell,
births, deaths, break-ups, marriages, divorce etc.
but, underlying all of that,
this little store has been my saviour.
it has been the one constant in my life for so long.
but, i & the store are only still here because of my wonderful clients, most of whom, i can call friends.
who have seen me thru all of my trials & tribulations.
& it's to them i raise a glass, full of thanks & love.
after almost 4 years away, i shall be returning in the new year to reside in my store,
this time tho', it'll be very different, as coming with me this time,
is alfie, my wonderful little boy, who'll be 3 in december.
he is the most wonderful thing to ever happen to my life,
& i am so looking forward to growing up with him,
well, he can do the growing, i'll stay a kid at heart.
again, a huge thank you to all who have walked this trail with me,
without you, the journey wouldn't have been so much fun.
