snow day 18 december 2010
4 hours to do 7 miles
yep 4 bleeding hours, 1 1/2 was just getting from walton st to the station, about a mile. the snow was falling heavy & people were just sitting there, all the roads were blocked, but, have jeep will survive.
i have never driven in weather like it but, i made it home.
i got to work at 8am, first client phoned to say she'd be late, contacted all the others, warned them of the conditions, they all said they'd come early.
& they did 6 clients, 3 having colour & cuts, all arrived at 10 am, well, that was a challenge, rachel brought me in a coffee, so did steve, plus the one i had had at home,
oh boy, steamrollering time.
that was one of the greatest & most fun days i have ever had in the salon.
wow, liz, who flies off to kiwi land to get married tomorrow, fingers x, even said it was like an impromptu hen party,
we all just laughed so much, mona, even brought her dog, mephisto, in.
well, by 12.30, i was done.
the snow was at least a foot deep, & i knew things would be tuff on the roads.
but, i made it thru.

jane, liz, nadya, mellie, kerina & mona.
i hope you had fun as well, & all got home safely.
what a blast.
& now, i can't wait till tomorrow,
when i can go sledging with alfie.
